P/PV Recognized by the US Department of Health and Human Services
On December 7, P/PV received a Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration 2010 Science and Service Award for our work implementing the Nurse-Family Partnership in Pennsylvania. The award recognizes "exemplary implementation of evidence-based interventions that have been shown to prevent and/or treat mental illnesses and substance abuse." For more information, click here.



Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine Highlights P/PV's Role in Ensuring Strong Program Implementation
An article published in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine examines Pennsylvania's statewide replication of the Nurse-Family Partnership, which pairs trained nurses with low-income first-time mothers for one-on-one home visits, highlighting the importance of "monitoring fidelity and program standardization" accomplished in partnership with P/PV. Children's Futures is a multiyear community-change initiative designed to improve the well-being of children in Trenton, NJ.
