What You Can Do

Thank you for considering a donation to P/PV. Your gift will expand the reach of P/PV's mission to improve the effectiveness of social programs and policies as they affect high-poverty communities across the United States. Your donation will fuel three specific areas of our work:

Advancing new social innovations
P/PV examines some of the nation's most entrenched social problems. We work closely with practitioners to design and test innovative new programming, with a focus on issues such as joblessness, youth violence and prisoner reentry. Your donation will allow us to engage in critical planning work to design and advance promising new initiatives, often before large philanthropic and public funders are ready to make significant investments.

Communicating the lessons of our work
Influencing policy and practice hinges on ensuring that P/PV's messages are clear, well targeted and heard by many audiences, including the media, academics and advocacy groups, as well as practitioners, philanthropists and policymakers. Your gift will help to increase our effectiveness in communicating the key lessons of our work and expand our web presence and technological capacity.

Supporting public/private partnerships
P/PV partners with federal, state and local governments to pilot new program models, research promising innovations and provide training and technical assistance to some of the nation's most promising publicly funded initiatives. Individual donations help P/PV to underwrite the cost our involvement in this important public work.
