Ready2Thrive: A Resource Center & Practitioners' Network

P/PV has received support from the Ford Foundation to create Ready2Thrive, a web-based practitioners' network for organizations working to improve outcomes for African American, Latino and other young males of color who are at high risk for poor economic, educational, social and health-related outcomes. While there is a vast community of practitioners working to tailor their services to this population, no network currently exists to unify their efforts. Ready2Thrive seeks to fill this gap by helping practitioners reach across silos to foster innovation and identify best practices.

Ready2Thrive will provide technical assistance, up-to-date research, interactive web features, and other resources. Additionally, it will offer web-based tools for peer-to-peer exchange that can generate program innovations and share best practices. It will be launched at the end of March; to sign up for the Ready2Thrive contact list, click here.
